Mulazine's very own Ira Erina and Jordan Chan catch up with local psychedelic rock band Ramayan on their sound, songwriting, and what it takes to make it in the local scene.

Consisting of Pi’e, Que, and Omar, the Sungai Bulow-based band seeks to bring Malaysian psychedelic rock to the local scene.

Inspired by rock legends from The Beatles to Pink Floyd and Tame Impala, Ramayan has a sound that brings its listeners on a spiritual journey that’s simultaneously grounded in their cultural roots. Check out our interview with them below to learn more about them:
