What do you do?
I am a self taught writer and photographer. I’ve been honing this craft of mine since I was in my teens. I’m also a self taught poet who’s just constantly writing about longing and love.
Why do you do what you do and how do you convince people that you love what you do?
I write a lot of poems. I have entire collections of books filled with them. I also like taking photographs of my friends on film. I love doing all these things and try to involve them in my process of creating/photographing my work. I believe that way I show them that I love what I do.
What’s your birth chart and which one do you resonate most with?
So I’m a Leo sun, Libra moon and rising. I’m a hopeless romantic by nature and I have to thank my Libra placements for that. People also naturally gravitate to me and I’m a Leo in that sense but very much a Libra 24/7.
What’s your best skill, and one skill that you wish you had?
Best skills are probably my writing (which needs some polishing), photography and communication. One skill I wish I had would be to be more disciplined in my day to day work and to not work around the clock.
What’s a quintessential signature you that many can be familiar with?
My smile. Everyone can see it from a mile away and that’s always been my defining feature.
How did you get to where you are now and what were some of the fall backs that you had to go through?
Honestly, a lot of hard work and perseverance. Crying helped [still helps]. It’s good for me to let go of my tensed up feelings and crying them out helps me. A lot of sticky notes on my bed frame of self help reminders to take care of myself and constant affirmations from my self, my friends and my partner. The fall backs in working in the creative scene is always the same- in that there is not much support. Being a young creative doesn’t help either as the general public believes that a creative has to be weathered by years of experience to be good in what they do.
What’s your favorite photo in your gallery and why?
So technically I have over 1900 favorite pictures that I have amassed over the years. They’re filled with memes and pictures of me with my friends and my partner. They’re really my favorites cos I look at them so often just to laugh and reminisce.
What’s your pet peeve?
Loud chewing, people who purposefully push my buttons and people I’m working with who’s incompetent. The last one really riles me up!
Describe to us what your ideal collaboration and client is. Also, who would you want to work with?
Ideally I would love to work with creatives that are into cultivating ideas for longevity and ones that can stimulate the general audience’s thinking and perception. It would also be interesting to do this with bigger clients who can bounce off ideas with me and where we can learn off each other. I don’t have any one client specifically in mind to work with as I am open to all kinds of individuals as long as they are willing to pay all their creatives for their time and effort.
How should one approach you to working together?
Hit me up on my emails or socials! I’m more than keen to collaborate and work with people.
