What do you do?
I’d like to think I do a lot of things because I’m best at a lot of things. Ha! I’m the First Child. Other than carrying responsibilities of a woman, I founded this beautiful safe space called MulaZine in 2018 when I had just started studying in London. I am also now an Alumni of the London College of Fashion.
Why do you do what you do and how do you convince people that you love what you do?
I do what I do because I’ve never enjoyed working at my past jobs before. I never had the opportunity to sit down, chat, and bounce ideas with a group of like-minded creatives and also become friends with them outside of work. I do what I do because holistically, I know that I’m meant to do this. #Tiber
What’s your birth chart and which one do you resonate most with?
I’m a Saggitarius! As you can tell, I’m all about me. Don’t worry about complimenting me, I won’t be shy to admit that you’re right. However, if we’re going deeper… (checking my co-star app for this) Saggitarius Sun, Cancer Moon, and Taurus Rising! I resonate with Taurus a lot also.
What’s your best skill, and one skill that you wish you had?
I think it’d be my leadership skills. I wish.. I could become more eloquent. More, confident and not have too many brain farts you know?
What’s a quintessential signature you that many can be familiar with?
My linen and my espadrilles!
How did you get to where you are now and what were some of the fall backs that you had to go through?
I haven’t reached my destination yet. But, mentally to get to where I am, I’ve learned to be quite optimistic about life. I was fortunate enough to have a degree in something I love while being able to utilize resources that I was never familiar with but had the opportunity to, anyways. The fallbacks were the number of times I had anxiety. Surprisingly, it’s more than just mental pain, but it hurts physically too.
What’s your favorite photo in your gallery and why?

A picture of me submitting my thesis. You can clearly see how swollen my eyes looked here cause I didn’t get 72 hours of sleep and had multiple breakdowns in between. It was also a topic I was really proud to do. “Old Habits Die Hard: An Insight Into The Malay Identity through the lens of traditional beliefs, superstition, folkloric practices, and strategic skepticism.” ok ya bye.

What’s your pet peeve?
Loud transportation noises. And I think half-assed replies.
Describe to us what your ideal collaboration and client is. Also, who would you want to work with?
I’d like to work with Lena C. Emery as a photographer. But for MulaZine, anyone who has the same intention, approach, and effort.. yes to me.
How should one approach you to working together?
Girl, start by saying you follow MulaZine and I’m all ears.
